The 240 sqmtr property sleeps 8 people in four double bedrooms, six in the main house and two in a separate, one-bedroom garden house perfect for extended family or couples after seclusion. Rose Cottage provides a dose of real country life with every modern amenity. Designed to maximise communal living, the house is perfect for indoor and outdoor living and entertaining. There is access from the lounge to a terrace and garden with barbecue, as well as a lounging deck off the garden house. Little ones can retreat to the garden cottage to watch DVDs or play on the Wii, while couples enjoy privacy in the main house’s stylish surroundings. Solid, natural materials and a palate of oak, elm, slate and plaster create a beautiful envelope for original furnishings that blend Elizabethan and Victorian antiques with mid-century pieces. The cottage is beautiful and location, stunning. I am truly envious of the well appointed kitchen (complete with a kitchenaid nonetheless!). We will definitely be returning to Rose Cottage!
